How to Succeed, Believe in Yourself-God Does!

As a small business owner, I have learned that no one has to believe in my dreams and ambition for my business, but me. With God, I can do anything and there is no limit in what I can do. God is a good stronghold in my life, He has sustained me, maintained me in the tough times, and has cheered me on in the good times.

This past weekend I was an exhibitor at “Success Revolution Conference”, I had limited funds to get brochures, pamphlets, and flyers made for my exhibitor booth. But, I did not fear because I knew God would make a way out of nothing. As usual, God made a way out of nothing and I was able to get my brochures, pamphlets, and flyers made for my booth for less than $50. My exhibitor booth at the seminar was nice and I made many connections with other business owners. Also, I made connections with some potential clients as well. I tell you keeping faith in God and faith in yourself, it is no limit to what you can do. Having faith and trust in God and in yourself is the key to being a successful business owner.

Owning your dream means having your belief in yourself outweigh your fears. Good quote from Akeelah and the Bee Movie “She reads, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.” “Larabee asks, ‘What does that means?’ She answers, ‘That I’m not supposed to be afraid.’ He asks, ‘Afraid of what?’ She answers, ‘Afraid of…me?’ You will never embrace your God-given destiny until you first believe in yourself. And that belief comes from knowing: ‘God is working in [me], giving [me] the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.” Akeelah and the Bee Movie.
