How to Succeed, Others Are Watching You
Everything you do in life is being observed and watched by others. You should never allow anyone to see the worst part of you because first impressions last a lifetime. No one will ever remember what you say to them or give to them, but they will remember how you treated them and made them feel.
As an aunt, I have come to realize that my nieces see me as role model for their lives. My nieces have learned the importance of education by watching me continuing my education and learning despite my age. They have always learned from me the importance of mapping out your life. Also, they have learned how important it is to have God in your life, in order to, maneuver through the path of life God has provided for us to follow.
I have learned the importance of remaining committed, regardless of the difficulty or how unreasonable it might seem. My parents’ example of never giving up and staying the course was an example of the story of God at work in a human life. Apostle Paul challenges each of us to “be an example…in word…conduct…love…spirit…faith…purity” (1 Tim 4:12). He told Titus, “In everything set them an example by doing what is good…show integrity.” If you think that sounds like a tall order—you’re right. But, “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness” (2 Peter 1:3).
