How to Succeed, What Are You Afraid of?

Psalm 23:4, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4 clearly states that we should not be afraid or fearful of anything because God is with us every step of the way. We should not be afraid or fearful of anything because God is watching over us every step of the way. We are covered by the “blood of Jesus Christ” against the schemes of the devil. The devil will do everything, in his power, to destroy you. But like Job, you must understand that no matter what the devil does to you, you are protected by the love and sacrifice of God. God’s son, Jesus Christ, died to ensure that we had a close relationship with God.

Ep. 6:10-20 gives clear instructions on how to beat the devil’s weapon of “being fearful and afraid.” You must put on the full armor of God to fight the devil’s weapon of “fear”. You must stay in the Word of God (the Bible) on a regular basis and read your Bible every day. Stay in the Lord’s Word morning and night to be prepared for the battle against the devil. Also, another tool from God that you must use to fight the devil is prayer, you should pray morning and night. You must fellowship with other Christians to have a good spiritual support system to battle against the devil. God has the commander, the Holy Spirit, directing His army, group of angels, on how to protect you against the devil’s weapon of “being afraid and fearful”.

Remember with the “full armor of God”, the “blood of Jesus Christ”, God’s Word (the Bible), and the Holy Spirit, you can beat the devil at his own game of making you afraid. What are you afraid of? You should not be afraid of anything because God is with you every step of the way.
