How to Succeed: How to Avoid Trouble!
Proverbs 4:18-19,”V18 The path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day. V19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.”
Proverbs 4:13-27 gives a summary of how one should live and stay out of trouble. The verses explain the importance of following God’s commands. Proverbs 4 states that one must learn to discern what is good vs. evil. It states the importance of not giving into temptation to sin. When you live a just life, you will be okay and you can deal with trials and tribulations in a good and positive way.
We can be our worst enemy at times because we try to do things on our own without instruction and guidance from God. It is important to wait on God and follow His instructions at all times. Try to surround yourself with people who live a godly life because they can show you how to avoid trouble or temptation. As Christians, the only way to bring others to Christ is by example. How can you say you are a child of God when you are not living like one? People are led by example and not by words.
As a true Christian, you must do the following:
- Live a godly life.
- Show by example how to live godly.
- Do not give into temptation.
- Do not judge others.
- Love and support each other.
As a child of God, you must learn to live the life that God planned for you to live.
