How to Succeed, How God Works
2 Cor. 6:2, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” God hears you and knows that you need a prayer answered. God knows when it is the “right time” to answer your prayers. But, you have to be ready to receive the answer to your prayers. You have to do the following to receive God’s answers to your prayers:
- Have strong faith.
- Keep your heart open.
- Speak God’s promises over the problem or situation into the atmosphere.
- Be ready for God’s blessings.
Acts 3:3-8, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth works. Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly….he jumped to his feet and began to walk.” We have areas in our lives that are our greatest weaknesses. Our weaknesses can cause us to be unhappy in life. 1 Cor. 10:13, “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience.” Despite your weaknesses, you must learn to rise up from the ashes and persevere. You must say to yourself, “This may be me now, but by the grace of God I will not be like this forever.” You cannot wait for others to change your lot in life, you have to make the change yourself.
Your trials and tribulations can help someone else. Sometimes God places us in certain situations to help others. God wants each of us to be a helping hand to each other. You can be down now, but helping another person out will bring your spirits up. God works through you to let others know about His Son, Jesus Christ. Be ready because you never know who will need your help.
