The Secret of Staying Happy

Society assumes that the key ingredients to “true happiness” are money, success, and worldly possessions. But, the best recipe for “true happiness” lays in having a close relationship with God and knowing you are rich beyond measure. You must put God first in your life and He should be your No. 1 priority. When you put God first in your life, He will provide you with all you need to live an abundant life. Whatever God gives you, it should not rob you of a personal relationship with Him. Never allow anything to come between you and God.

Psalm 112: 1 “Blessed is the man that fears the Lord that delights greatly in His commandments”. God just wants you to put Him first in your life. Spending quality time with God gives you a sense of purpose in your life. You need to have a close relationship with God because all the blessings flow through Him. True happiness comes from knowing who God is, desiring to be close to God, and spending time with God.

God is waiting for you to go through the door that He has opened for you. You are responsible for your own life. No one owes you anything. 1 John 5:14-15 “And this is the confidence that we have in Him, which if we ask anything according to His will, He hear us. And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the positions that we desired of Him.” Remember that with God all you have to do is ask and you shall receive it. But, you have to do something in return, spend quality time with God and follow His commands.

True happiness is when you know that God will provide all that you need and you have nothing to fear at all.
